As an Caregiver Service Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our field employees and maintaining compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations. From managing employee records to coordinating training and assisting with benefits, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric environment.
Maintain and update field employee records, ensuring compliance with DOH mandates
Conduct monthly follow-ups regarding employee medical compliance
Review and verify employee files pre- and post-orientation
Assist in coordinating in-service trainings and employee benefits administration
Participate in audits and reporting (e.g., I-9, CHRC, vendor audits)
Recommend disciplinary actions and process terminations when necessary
Issue employment verification letters
Support the HR team with various administrative duties as needed
Education: High school diploma or higher
Experience: Previous HR or healthcare experience preferred
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HHA Exchange, and related software
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organized: Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
People Skills: Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with NYS DOH regulations for licensed home care agencies
Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish/English
