Job Summary:

The Senior Compliance Program Analyst is responsible for supporting the FSC-Corporate ethics, compliance, and privacy program (ECP) through data analysis and reporting key performance indicators to the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. This includes researching industry best practices and bench marking for program effectiveness relating to compliance, privacy, internal operations, and procedural compliance, analyzing, participating, supporting process improvement initiatives. Also maintain and follow-up on external surveys/audit tracker, compiling all plans of correction, any business development activity related to ECP. The Senior Compliance Program Analyst is responsible in leading and supporting on compliance key performance indicators of excellence.
**This position will work from their home office with quarterly travel to the Chicago, IL headquarters for on-site collaboration and department meetings.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Vice President, Compliance & Privacy Officer, this role will be responsible for identifying data trends, gaps, and areas of compliance risk for FSC-Corporate and Field Markets.
  • To develop strategies and recommendations based on outcomes of data analytics.
  • Maintain, manage, and analyze internal and external surveys/audits tracker.
  • Collaborate and support the compliance leadership team on measuring effectiveness of the compliance program, gaps/trends, integration and recommend key performance indicators.
  • Review gaps/trends, analyze and report on third-party compliance platforms that provide key data points for the ethics compliance program.
  • Analyze gaps/trends on potential internal compliance process opportunities for improvement in the ethics compliance and privacy program.
  • Assist and collaborating in obtaining gap closure plans by determining regulatory reporting requirements and keeping track of key compliance metrics.
  • Regularly reviewing and reporting the Compliance Program effectiveness to the ethics compliance and privacy leadership team.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred in a related healthcare field or business.
  • Experience in healthcare setting with a focus on data analytics, reporting and customer support in areas accreditation, compliance and regulatory five (5) years minimum.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and utmost confidentiality are required as part of this role.
  • Ability to quickly identify trends/patterns and proactively respond.
  • Experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients, and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project.
  • Knowledge and experience in state and federal regulations including HIPAA.
  • Experience in Healthcare or related industry.
  • PMO preferred, lean six (6) sigma certification preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ability to juggle multiple critical projects and tasks while maintaining your day-to-day work.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of direct data analytical skills and reporting  
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, team player, with positive attitude and strong quantitative, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills - i.e., ability to create basic pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Vizio or related software program.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Advanced project management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Ability to research, learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
  • Ability to influence and settle differences quickly and peacefully.
  • Potential for up to 10-20% domestic travel, as required


Office:

  • Remote and office based in downtown Chicago 
  • Location: This position offers a flexible remote/hybrid work arrangement for candidates that are able to travel into the Chicago, IL office as needed. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Majority (90%) of work is conducted indoors in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
